Neverwinter Nights
Neverwinter Nights (NWN) was released for the PC way back in 2002. A decade later it continues to have a strong community and a number of persistent worlds are still kicking about.
#qmnwn was founded on good times spent gaming with other players and we united in certain triumphs such as repeatedly closing doors on other players as we battled through the Official Campaign (OC). As they say: you had to be there.
Patches
The last update for NWN was released in 2008 and marked the end of official support by BioWare. It updated the game to version 1.69 and brought with it a big list of new features.
BioWare have subsequently closed their NWN website which has made it more difficult to download the Critical Rebuild Patch. However, we have helpfully hosted the recommended updates!
NWN:HotU English Critical Rebuild 1.69
This is the last critical rebuild that BioWare released and the most up to date version of the game. This is compatible with Platinum, Diamond and Deluxe editions of the game and also with the version available on GoG.
NWN:HotU English Critical Rebuild 1.68
A slightly less new version of NWN but considered relatively stable. Most servers have moved to using NWN 1.69 but this is available for legacy purposes. As above, this is also compatible with the Platinum, Diamond and Deluxe editions of the game.
NWN:HotU English Critical Rebuild 1.67
Last but not least, this is a much older version of NWN but it is available here if you need it for any reason. Some Platinum and Diamond editions of the game install a slightly broken version of NWN 1.67 so if for any reason you prefer not to update to NWN 1.69, this can at least help fix your issues.
